| หลักการและเหตุผล : |
Introduction: Dental caries in infants and young children is prevalent in worldwide. It can also lead to rampant decay, infection, pain, abscesses, chewing problems, and malnutrition in child. They are neglected by their parents as the deciduous teeth are going to shed off, and hence considered to be of no importance and more of economic burden if attended to them. However, Thakhuntho district was lacked information of factors associated with dental caries in pre-school. |

| วัตถุประสงค์ : |
Objective: To determine the associated between maternal factors and dental in children among 6-30 months in Thakhantho hospital, Kalasin province. |

| กลุ่มเป้าหมาย : |
The samples were maternal and children to get vaccinated at the well child clinic (WCC) at Thakhantho Hospital during January 2015 - December, 2016. 601 samples from the data recorded in the program and the records of Thakhantho Hospital. |

Descriptive statistics described population characteristics by using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and using multiplication logistic regression at 95% confidence interval (95% CI) and p-value of Odd ratio (OR). |

| ผลการศึกษา : |
Result: The result showed 23.2% of dental caries among children 6-30 months. The Multivariate Logistic Regression model showed that were found dental caries among children 6-30 months associated with behavior of maternal on toothbrush for their child [aOR = 3.23; 95%CI= 2.1 – 4.9; P-value =<0.001]. |

| ข้อเสนอแนะ : |
Conclusion: The findings confirm child care behaviors relating to dental caries were important among children 6-30 months. To reduce limitation of this Retrospective Cohort study should be for planning dental health promotion programs for maternal and child in cognitive, attitude and practice to reduce dental caries among childhoods in this area. |
